Paris Hilton packs dozens of bags for World Cup

There’s only six days to go until the end of the World Cup. But Paris Hilton obviously feels she needs at least one suitcase full of clothes every day.

As she headed off to South Africa for the final stages of the cup last week the heiress posed atop more than a dozen designer suitcases.

She obviously has a passion for Louis Vuitton - the vast collection of bags all bore the designer’s unmistakable logo.

The 29-year-old posted the photo on her Twitter account with the message: ‘All packed and ready for the World Cup! So excited!’

Later, she tweeted about the “private jet” she’s taking to South Africa. Luckily, it looks like the plane will have plenty of room for all the Hilton baggage.

Michael Jackson's Glove Sells For $160,000 At Music Icons Auction

A few months after Michael Jackson's death one of his gloves sold for over $70,000. As AOL News reports, on the first anniversary of Michael Jackson's death one of the crystal-encrusted gloves the King of Pop wore during the1984 "Victory Tour" sold for $160,000 at the Julien's Auctions at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that the winning bid came from $160,000 bid from Wanda Kelley of Los Angeles, a dedicated fan. She also bought many Jackson gold records.

Overall the auction brought in over $1 million. The Music Icons auction is part of a three-day, 1,600-lot auction that features items belonging to Anna Nicole Smith, Cher, Brad Pitt, Ronald Reagan and Frank Sinatra. The well-timed Jackson memorabilia mostly outpaced estimates with pieces of his clothing, an MTV music video awards, handwritten lyrics and more all sold above estimate. A signed fedora sold for $45,000 and a corduroy shirt for $23,000, the jacket he wore during his wedding to Debbie Rowe sold for $60,000 and the T-shirt he wore in his "Beat It" video sold for $36,000.

Tupac Shakur song Dear Mama to enter US archive

Recordings by late rapper Tupac Shakur, comedian Bill Cosby and rock band REM are among the latest to be preserved by the US Library of Congress.

Shakur song Dear Mama, Cosby's comedy album I Started Out As A Child and REM's 1981 song Radio Free Europe will enter the National Recording Registry.

Records by Little Richard, Patti Smith and Willie Nelson are also included.

Each year, 25 works nominated by the public and a panel of experts are preserved for future generations.

Shakur's 1995 song Dear Mama was cited as a "moving and eloquent homage to both his own mother and all mothers struggling to maintain a family in the face of addiction, poverty and societal indifference".

Shakur, who was shot dead in 1996, becomes the third rap act to be inducted into the registry, following Grandmaster Flash and Public Enemy.

REM were praised for setting "the pattern for later indie-rock releases by breaking through on college radio in the face of mainstream radio's general indifference".

Giorgio Armani has unveiled its latest underwear campaign featuring a rather muscular-looking Cristiano Ronaldo.

The football star is appearing for his second season as the face of Armani’s autumn/winter 2010- 11 adverts.

The ads were shot on location in Madrid by acclaimed snapping duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.

The campaigns will roll out starting from July around the world on signature billboards in major cities such as New York, London, Paris and Tokyo.
